Embroidery Educational Workshops

Bring your embroidery machine and your questions to the Embroidery Educational Workshops. Our instructor teaches embroider tips and techniques for all levels. Whether you’re a beginner embroiderer with a single-needle machine or an advanced, commercial embroiderer with a digital machine, you will learn something new at our embroidery educational workshops. Don’t have an embroidery machine of your own? Practice your techniques on the instructor’s machine.

Make and Take Workshops

Learn new crafting skills and create something beautiful at our Make and Take events. These hands-on workshops allow participants to make a craft project and take it home with them. Make and Take participants have created Christmas ornaments, fairy garden stakes, wine charms, and other crafty projects.

The Pure Joy of Giving Campaign

The Pure Joy of Giving Campaign is a twist on Make & Take. Two gifts. One to keep. One to share. At this class you will make 2 projects. The purpose of this campaign is to brighten someone day and hopefully let others know that they are seen and loved – even by a stranger! We have created subcategory to The Pure Joy of Giving Campaign. In February, we did “Share the Love”. In March, “Spread the Luck”. “Share the Light” was based on suicide awareness and prevention, which was held in August and in December we have “Share the Joy”. Classes will vary each year and more may be added depending on the themes and projects we come up with.

Be the Light. Share the Light.

This event, previously held in August, will consist of a craft/vendor show and silent auction. Discount Embroidery Blanks will donate monies raised from the silent auction to Ride for Ty. Ride for Ty is a non-profit organization for suicide awareness and prevention.

Scheduled on a Saturday in December, Christmas Craft Chaos is an event that features various activity stations, Make and Take classes, and lunch. Participants bring their own craft supplies or purchase supplies from Discount Embroidery Blanks.
